Hi Guys,

RE: Sound Forge Audio Studio.

When I go FX Favourites > Flac encode filter - I get 'An unexpected error has occurred'.

Anything I need to do to get this dialogue box working?

Also, I can't find any mention in the manual or in the forum what this is actually for - and I am not clear whether when it is working, whether: 1. I will be able to read flac files - or even better - 2. Whether I will be able to save to flac format as well?

Simon

Ignore the FX Favorites entry (or remove it with the Plug-in Manager). It is globally registered with the same parameters as a DirectX effect but doesn't really belong there.

If you can tell me what you installed prior to this appearing, I can see that it is hidden in future builds.

FLAC files can be opened and saved in Sound Forge 9.0b and later. FLAC support is not currently available in any version of Sound Forge Audio Studio.
