Subject:Simple Question?!? How to add tracks to the data window?

I tried HELP, FAQ and looking at this forum, I am new to SF 5 beta. How the heck do I add more tracks
to the data window? I want to mix 3 or 4 different soundtracks together (IE music under voices, etc.).
AmI stupid or can you do this inSound Forge 5?

Aloha,
MauiSpud

You're not stupid. Sound Forge is not a multi-track editor.
It's a stereo destructive editor. You need software like
Vegas Audio to do what you're talking about.

hahahahaa.....what's that you're a "new user"?....and can't
figure out why a flagship piece of software can't mix
multiple tracks together?....lol...hahahah. Well is that
ironic or what?....not only will Sonic Foundry lose their
loyal Sound Forge users with this release....their new
users are also gonna be highly
disappointed...hahahah...You're not stupid Don, you're
just learning the short comings of the "NEW!!!!" Sound
Forge.....with 32bit 192Khz supported
formats!!!....hahahahah.

Hi Don
I would use a product like Vegas, Sound Forge has a mix
feature I don't use it because I own Vegas,Open both files
and drag and drop one of the files over the other and you
should see a mix window. You can adjust the levels between
the two files. I would make a backup up just in case you
dont like the mix.
I hope this helps
