Subject:Unable to record from CD - Sound Forge XP 4.5

I've tried the usual things: I checked the sound source,
adjusted the volumne. I even "enabled Digital Audio" for my
cd player (te default is analog).

I'm running Windows 2000.

Nothing records.

Any suggestions?

Hi Richard,

You might be better off using some sort of 'ripping'
program to extract the audio track(s) from the CD, then
open the .wav files with SF to edit if you want.

I use a prog called CDRWin, I believe the web page is
www.goldenhawk.com. I've been using an older version for
quite a while, so haven't been back to the site for awhile.

I've read about many others, since so many people are
pulling tracks off their CD's to make compilation CD-R's.
