Subject:Help lost Audio Plug in Chainer

Has anyone had this experience. I reinstalled Sound Forge
4.5e on a new system and the plug in chainer no longer
shows up. It's still on my old system so I copied the
whole directory to a CD and replaced the files on my new
system and it still wasn't there. Is there a way to
reinstall just the Chainer. Thanks for any help.

I found the answer to my own question. The installation of
DirectX 8.0beta is what did it. I used a program called
directX buster to remove directX. This can be tricky I'm
told but it worked for me. I reinstalled DirectX 7 and
everything is fine.
