Hey, I have SoundForge 4.5h. Once, after I was done using it, I closed it. When I ran it again, it wouldn't run, showing an hour-glass for 2 or 3 seconds and then not running. I reinstalled Windows (I neede to anyway), reinstalled it, and it ran fine the first time, but every time after that, it didn't run. Please help, |

What other software do you have running? Look in the task bar, at the right next to the clock and see what little icons are there. Those could be conflicting in some way. Disable any virus scanner software that may be loaded. You may want to remove programs that automatically load when Windows starts, then try placing them back in until you hit the one that may be conflicting. Is there any other part of Sonic Foundry that may be opened separately from the main part of the program itself? Open the task manager (CNTRL-ALT-DEL) and see what tasks are running. You are interested in the tasks associated with Sound Forge. You're going to have to do a little troubleshooting. Check all of your devices in the hardware device manager...make sure there aren't any devices with "!" or "X" or "?" over them. What kind of computer? What hardware is installed? How much memory? Sound card? Midi devices? Howard Andrews wrote: >>Hey, I have SoundForge 4.5h. Once, after I was done using it, I closed it.
