I am running SF4.5, when I try to save a file as MP3 format, I get to the Save As screen and there is no MP3 options , but when I hit OK to save/convert any MP3 file, I get the following error: "An error occured saving the file. Make sure there is enough room on the destination disk to save this file." Why the heck can't SF (or ACid for that matter) utilize my Windows internal MP3 codec...as it is available in my multimedia control panel under Frauhoffer MP3 codec (installed by radium)...what gives...is Sonic being cheap and gouging as to being only able to use their propietary mp3 plug in codecs? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times...and my other audio progs can utilize my internal MP3 codec...even if I copy the .acm to the SF folder...I get no option for MP3 in my save as screen....aargh...:( help please |

Hello, As long as you have the latest version of Sound Forge, which is version 4.5h, you will have mp3 capabilities. The update is available on the downloads page of our website. Acid cannot open mp3's, but it can save. Neither program is going to recognize your hacked radium mp3 codec. hahahah....what a bonehead, I guess he won't have MP3 ability then, because radium hasn't released a sound forge 4.5h version either....lol.
