Acording to Amazon's listing, it is expected by March. I assume it will be for beginner/intermediate users, like his Cakewalk book (which I have and find useful - even as an experienced user). The curious thing I see is that the book description refers to Sound Forge version 4.5/5.0 !!! Maybe Mr. Garrigus has some inside info on SF 5.0 ??? I already have the book and so far it looks pretty good. You can order it now and get the PDF version with the printed version and start reading it on your computer untill the printed version comes out, at no extra charge to get both versions. |

This is a quote from Scott that I recieved back in February. "Most definitely. Sound Forge Power will cover all of the features in Sound Forge 5.0. I've been using the beta for quite some time now". I have already ordered the Sound Forge Power book thru the Sonic Foundry web site. For new SF5.0 users like me who took advantage of the $99.00 download offer, having a book like this as an added reference will be invaluable. Bill |
