Subject:MP3 Encoder

I have recently upgraded to Sound Forge v4.5H and was
wondering if I need to install the Mp3 Encoder with this
version. In past versions I have always installed the MP3
Encoder. So I'm just wondering is there any benefit in
installing the MP3 encoder, or is this already implemented
in these later versions?

Hi Brian,

The Mp3 Plug-in is installed with the update. If you need
to activate it, you can contact customer service at 1-800-
577-6642.

Thanks Ted, No I didn't need to activate it, I just
remember in the past of hearing something about the MP3
encoder included with Sound Forge wasn't as jazzy as the
optional plugin, but if this is not the case then I will
not bother to install it for the update.
