Subject:Out of memory with batch conversion

I'm getting out of memory errors when processing files
(approximately 2.5 gigabytes of data -- sometimes as 7
files, sometimes as 70). Most of the files process just
fine. Usually, one or two (not necessarily the biggest,
first, or last ones) fail to process.

I'm running SF 4.5h in Win2000, with 128 MB of physical RAM.

My Sound Forge temp directory is set to a disk with 15
gigabytes of free space. The disk that contains the
Win2000 paging file isn't running out of space either.

Anyone know how to prevent these errors?

Allan,

Can you tell me what format you are converting to and which
template you are using? Or if you are running multiple
scripts, which scripts you are running? I'll try to
reproduce this for you.

I'm processing 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV files with no format
conversion. The batch script consists of the DirectX plug-
in chainer, followed by an Auto-Trim/crop operation to
extract silence.

The plug-in chainer contains the Noise Reduction Click and
Crackle removal tool, followed by the vinyl restoration
tool, followed by a second instance of the Click and
Crackle removal tool.

Thanks for your help!
