I want to make some samples 4 http use. Is it possible to edit a wave so that I keep the voice and delete the underlaying music. I found out that with the normal proces you can do the opposite. Is it possible? |

That's a very short answer to a long question Brian Franz wrote: >>No >> >>Tony wrote: >>>>I want to make some samples 4 http use. Alright, I've answered this in past discussions on this forum and here's my anology. What you're asking is, if I use 10 ingredients to make a cake and then I bake it, after it's mixed together and cooked do I have the ability to reach in and grab out an egg? That's pretty much what your asking for. And although you mention, that it's posible to remove the vocal from the music, on the contrare it really isn't. The process of removing a vocal is done by putting 1 channel 180 degrees out of phase with the other. What this causes, is that everything panned in the middle (like vocals) cancels out and leaves behind everything that has been panned off centered. The problem is that most vocals have stereo reverbs on them and the reverb gets left behind and you're still able to hear the vocals. The other problem is that the kick drum and bass instruments are also panned in the center and you lose the bass parts and low end of the music also.
