Subject:Gsnap VST midi problem

I am trying to use Gsnap which is a free pitch control VST plugin similar to a basic autotune. http://www.gvst.co.uk/gsnap.htm
While this plugin works fine for me for controlling pitch I can not figure out how to get it to work with an incoming midi signal. In other words I cant figure out a way to send live or prerecorded midi data to an effect attached to an audio track. I have seen this done on youtube with another DAW but I would really like to get it working in Acid Music Studio.

ACID Music Studio and ACID Pro do not permit you to route MIDI data to a VST audio plug-in.

Yeah and my NI Vokator eats dust when recording vocals in Acid for exactly the same reason . When is this gonna be fixed plz? Should i hope that AP7 will work with midi driven VST FX?

Maybe in a future version, but I make no promises.
