Subject:Kompakt Posted by: djmm62 Date:4/3/2008 7:34:24 AM When I purchased Acid 6 download, I didnt tick the box to have the Kompakt disk mailed to me because I thought I could download it when I download Acid.Turns out that's not the case. Does anyone know how or where I can get the Kompakt disk or download. Any help would be much appreciated.

The good folks who put together the American Heritage Dictionary did an extensive survey to determine what accents are used where across the country and to what extremes. They determined that people from the Delaware River valley in my county speak the American language (i won't call it "English" and offend all our friends across the pond) with no variation from the proper pronunciation. In other words, in my neck of the woods we have no accent! That, and "cowtown USA" (Bovina, NY) are probably the only two things we are famous for.

Getting back to you "Chienworks" your right,not all Americans have a distinguishable accent.When I watch "Friends"or "Seinfeld" for example I don't notice an accent at all.I don't know where the guy from Sony is from, he has a very strong accent and when I listen to say Dolly Parton for example she has a very different accent (she's from the south isn't she). It's funny how there's such a variation from north to south or east to west. What's really funny though is hearing actors trying to put on an Australian accent,it always seems to come off really wrong. Anyway nothing left to do now but enjoy my Sony software.
