Does anyone know if there is something available that will let me install the MPEG Layer 3 codec on a users machine. I'm working on a project in which there are a number of .wav files saved using the MPEG Layer 3 compressor. The problem is that most Win 95 and NT machines don't support files saved under that format. Am I screwed? |

Hi Ken, I believe if you have your user upgrade (a free download) to the latest Windows Media Player, then they will be able to play your files. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/ Best, Scott -- Scott R. Scott, I originally had the same idea except the latest Windows Media Player will not run on Win 95 or NT. So my problem still exists. I need a MPEG Layer 3 audio decoder I can install on users machines. Ken Scott R.
