I want to use the batch processor more often BUT I require it to send each file back to the original folder it came from, preferably with a appended name....this is no problem if each file to be batched comes out of the same folder, but how do I do it when the source and desired destinations are from many folders? Is this possible? any input please... thanks |

Hi Aaron, Unfortunately this is not possible with the Batch Converter. You can only specify one folder to monitor, and one to dump to. Aaron - I want to see this behavior as well. I just did a job of 300 loops and they all had specific categories/folders and I wanted to batch them but have them all end up in their proper folders. Can't do it. SF - could you please keep this in mind for the future version? thanks! I record to DA-88 then transfer files into vegas...usually 32 tracks per song. If I have 13 songs for one band and many files will take similar processing, i.e. all the kicks from all the songs, Id like to run a batch on them....but cant cuz they will all have the same name if I record with the same template...if there was just a way to automatically add the source file path to the suffix or something.... What Id really LOVE to see is an option in Vegas where you right click an event, and there was an option "add copy to batch" THAT would kick serious ass!!! |
