Subject:Adding Artist & Track Name when creating CD's

Hello,
I am making a cd of a few lectures, but when I burn the cd
and play it in a cd player (or using windows media player)
instead of having the artists name, it says "unknown
artist" and instead of the name of the track , it just had
Track 1, Track 2, Track 3, etc.

I did look through the help files and tried a few things,
but I could not get it to work.

I am able to get this to work when burning mp3's by
entering this information in the ID3 tag when I save, but I
cannot figure it out for .WAV files.

I did try filling in the information in the summary tab
under properties, but that did not seem to help.

thanks
khalid

I don't know what CD burning software you are using, but if you are
using CDArchitect (great program; why did they discontinue it?), you
must type in the track title info in the PQ list spreadsheet and also
fill in the file properties section for the .cdp file for that CD.

I am just using the software that came with my cd-burner, which My HP-
CD.

Is there anything in Sound Forge itself that can handle this function?

thanks

Hello,

I believe you are referring to CD text, which cannot be added in
Sound Forge.
