Can I use Soundforge to 'grab' audio from my cdplayer? Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm new to all this! Graeme |

Well first of all we need to know if you're talking about a CD player which is external from your computer and then we also need to know what you mean by the term "Grab"? Hi Graeme, If you're using a regular consumer sound card like the Sound Blaster, this isn't difficult at all. Just double-click on the yellow speaker icon in the Windows System Tray to open your sound card mixer. Then select Options>Properties, choose Recording and then click OK. Now just put a check mark in the Select option for your CD player input. Sound Forge should now record any audio coming from your CD player. Best, Scott -- Scott R.
