I record the VO in a large room and there are some constant background noise. and when I finish record the V.O, I have record a pure background noise for reference(sample). I do this because I heard that sound forge can cut the constant background noise(frequency) with referencing the noise that I "tell" sound forge. But how's the step of doing that? Please let me know. Thanks. |

You need the Sonic Foundry DirectX Noise Reduction plugin to do this type of noise reduction. I don't believe there is a way of just using Sound Forge to be able to do this task by itself. I believe the plugin is an additional $200, but well worth it.
