Acidize properties (essential) Extract regions (essential too for any editing) Please, I hope Sonic Foundry is not losing sight of how they got where they are today. Do not leave ACID and Soundforge rotting on the back burner for creating software like Viscosity. I mean no offense about that but you guys should stay focused on audio tools. You've created great tools keep on making them even better. thanks |

Hi Volkan, In the time until SF gets the Acidize properties added to the batch converter, I have written a piece of software called the Freeside Utilities for Acid that has such a tool in it. It's fo' free on a karmaware basis at www.thefreeside.com/utilities/ (it's about a 3.8MB d/l). And I too hope SF continues its stong tradition of making great music development tools, and doesn't sacrifice them for apps with less staying power but more "'net buzz" factor. From the outside, it's always so hard to know what a company will do, and the world of digital audio hasn't really ever had the benefits of things like source code escrow agreements and large, well funded companies behind it. So we users always seem to end up in a wait and see position (Mark of the Unicorn had me waiting two years while they "diligently" worked on a new device driver - I gave up waiting last weekend and switched MIDI interfaces). Very cool ! That is awesome ! Though I'm having difficulty downloading it right now. I will try again tomorrow. It loads everything until the last few KB. volkan Chris Haisty wrote: >>Hi Volkan, >> >>In the time until SF gets the Acidize properties added to the batch >>converter, I have written a piece of software called the Freeside >>Utilities for Acid that has such a tool in it.
