Can anyone tell me how to accurately match samples to a certain tempo in SF? I've been monkeying around with timestretching again and again getting closer and closer, but I never seem to be able to hit it exactly. I'm trying to do this with both drum-beat samples and non rythmic samples. In the case of the non rythmic samples, I'd like to be able to fit a spoken word section exactly into the space of four beats at a particular tempo. |

Just use Acid to stretch your samples. In Acid you can set the song tempo to a thousanth(sp?) degree, i.e. 092.361 bpm. Place your sample (make sure the Track Type is set to Loop) and use the Export command. In the new menu choose "Save Loop files at project tempo". It's as easy as that. :) There's a demo (Acid Express) floating around somewhere on this site. I don't know whether it contains the Export function though. Good luck.
