Subject:Ozone meb available outside SF9?

Was over in the Cakewalk Sonar forum and someone had asked about audio editors. One person mentioned that he'd wished he'd upgraded to SF9 in the early days when the meb was not locked to SF. I upgraded to SF9 from SF8 like the second day version was available and the meb was, IIRC, not available outside Soundforge. Was this ever true, or is the poster who made this comment talking out his keister?

I wanted to use the limiter on a SONAR project. But no matter where I set the controls, I got the brick wall at -12.
So on my system, the plug was available outside SF, but not usable.

It was true, but they put the clamps on it real quick-a mistake was made, they said. Those who do have use of the oZone plugs outside of SF will lose that capability if they ever upgrade SF9.
