Subject:Problem with short wav files

When I play short wav files like single drum sounds they're
often cut off sounding only half instead of sounding
entirely. Only when I play them looped they sound entirely.
This makes it difficult to edit drum sounds. Can anybody
help me this problem?

By the way, is there any news about a new version of Sound
Forge (new features, better looking interface, etc.)?

If you have any markers and regions, try saving a copy without them
and see if that fixes it. You might also try 'Special->Rebuild Peak
Data'. If those don't fix it, please contact technical support at
support@sonicfoundry.com and provide as many details as you can.

Regards,
Jason.

Jason,

Thanks for your reply. I'll give it a try tonight.
