Subject:Extracting Lyrix / bass tones

Just wondering if Soundforge is able to extract just the
voice(s) frequencies with no other instruments audible...
vise versa with extracting just the basetones or other
instrument tones.. much what you could expect from an 8
track tape editor ...

Hi Mike!

Nope. I can't think of any programs that would allow you to do this
yet, actually. The human voice frequencies are shared by quite a few
other instruments...and if you attempt to take out the voice, you'll
end up taking out a big chunk of everything else in the process.
