Currently I’m working for a small studio. I find, create, and edit audio for high quality interactive multimedia presentations and animations. I do not work with creating custom scores/soundtracks, however, I am responsible for extensive sound effects, ambient sounds, and v/o’s. I’m interested in recommendations for software/hardware solutions. My budget allows me to flexible, but I don’t want to be excessive. Please advise me on the best match for my current audio software/hardware needs, and why they are recommended. It’s important for me to understand what the advantages of the particular components are. For example, one audio card over another, dual CPU’s over single, Qbase over SoundForge, ect. I am currently working on the PC platform. Thanks in advance |
