Subject:Cant open certain .wav formats

When Downloading sound files that are in .wav format. I try
to open a sound I downloaded it says not in a "PCM"
compression. not sure what this means, but I was advised to
download a driver that could let me open the file and then
save in a different format. Does anyone know what I need to
download

Hello Andy.

The files you are downloading are compressed with a special non-
standard codec, unfortunately there are quite a few of these and to
figure out what kind you need you would have to contact the website
owner, and he/she could explain how to use it!
