Subject:Loop One Track?

Can you loop only one track?
Example:
I have a loop for a drum pattern to play guitar against, to keep in time, I can tweak the drums later.
So when I go to record, can I loop just the drum track while recording to another track that is not looped?

If you're looping within your markers, then it will go round in circles. An easy way would be to add your drum loop, and just drag it out to the right by a long way - then it will loop that section, and you don't need to cycle/loop between markers = no looping whilst you record to second track.

That's what I have been doing, drawing or painting out a ways and then copy/paste.

So no looping just a single track then?
