I am mastering a major CD project wich will be released on
a major lable and put in stores and would like to get any
tips and tricks and possibly suggestions on wich plug-ins
are best to use. I am using Sound Forge and have tons of
plug-ins. Any feedback would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

I've had very good results with www.timeworks.com TimeWorks Mastering
Compressor, on a theatre organ concert recording. Actually that's
all I've used it on. The Normalize-to-RMS-level function built into
SF is pretty good also.

There are so many variables, you should plan on lots of trial and
error, until you are satisified with your sound.

I appreciate the response that definately helps me, but yet I have
another problem. I have been able to get a bigger sound throuh QTools
Stereo expander and brighten the sound with "smooth enhance" and
turning up a little highs, but the overall sound still doesnt sound
as open as it should. Any suggestions on what plug-ins can give me a
more open sound? Or any other fine tuning that may create a more open
sound. Any feedback would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
