Subject:WMA vs. MP3

I have noticed that WMA files seem to be smaller than MP3
at the same bitrate. Does WMA discard more file
information to get a smaller file, or is it just a better
compression scheme?

Hello Bryan!

This would be a good question for Microsoft, but I would suspect that
they probably wouldn't give up their secrets on how they do it.
