Hi, Although im only 15, I have an intrest in audio recording, mostly making unit sounds for the Blizzard game Starcraft, Or Making mp3 trailors for campaigns or TC's... Recently ive been given the oppertunity to make a audio trailor for a new campaign coming out, but my knowledge of using soundforge is not quite ready yet to make what i have planned. This is where i need your help..if you can. This will probably sound like a stupid question but here goes. I have already chosen the backround music ("Escape" from the hit movie, The Patriot) And i need to know how to add my voice in.For Ex, the backround music is playing, and then the narrator(me) will say something, while the backround music is playing.... If you understand what im talking about, please reply...Thank you in advanced. |

Just mix one file into another, but you can do it the more elegant way using wavelab 3.0 ! You have a multitrack audio-montage where you arrange the music file and your voice. Not enough: In wavelab you can use volume envelope modulating. This means that the music plays and everytime your voice comes in it fades down the music track and after your voice finished it fades up again. bye, T. |
