Computer freezes when starting Sound Forge -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Computer freezes when starting Sound Forge Posted by: Chance Date:7/18/2000 4:23:00 PM The topic pretty much says it all. Each time I start Sound Forge my computer freezes. I have a celeron 450 MHz, AGP Diamond Viper V550 video card, Diamond Monster Sound II MX300 sound card and am running Win98. I have to hit cntrl-alt-del and select end task for sound forge to kill it b/c it freezes at the startup screen. Sometimes it wants to install something off my Win98 disk after I close Sound Forge, but my computer just locks up when I try the installation. I mess with alot of audio utilities on my computer and don't have any problems with any of them other than Sound Forge. Anyone have any clues?
