Subject:RMS normalizing/saving wav with id3 attached

I'd like to be able to rip WAVs from a CD, have 4.5 RMS normalize them and then have a another program (that's far, far more profecient at it than even mp3 plugge-in SF) convert them to MP3 files for insertion into a database. The problem is that the SF doesn't seem to want to process the ID3 tag attached to the WAV - I get a "unable to process chunks" error message - and the format converter needs the ID3 tag to do its job properly. Is there a way around this? |

Forge should just ignore the unknown chunk. What are you using to rip the Wave from CD? I'd like to look at the Wave file created by this tool. We have tried Mighty Dac, Audiograbber and Easy CD-DA to rip uncompressed PCM waves and each with "attach id3 tag for later use" checked. The batch converter opens them fine but stumbles when trying to save. Without "attch id3 tag attached" turned on in the rippers the converter picks up and saves the files with no problem. Thanks for any help. Peter Haller wrote: >>Forge should just ignore the unknown chunk. >> >>What are you using to rip the Wave from CD?
