I have found a beat that I like from a song and I was wondering if Soundforge has the capabilities to fade out all the other musical parts of that song except for the beat.?? The reason is because I want to use this beat in one of my own custom loop I am creating with Acid Pro?? Currently, the closest I can come to isolating this beat is using the built in Equalizer, but the equalizer doesn't totally mute the other music and wont let me isolate the beat fine enough... Also Is there a way to mute the voices from a Song (I only want instrumental) if you are playing the song with Soundforge??? If anyone knows how to do this or if SoundForge doesn't have the capabilities and anyone knows another software that does, please let me know. Thanks in advance. |

Hi. I can't think of any programs that can do this - unfortunately once a song is mixed down, there's really no way to just take out the drumbeat. As for the voices, you could try to use the Channel Converter from the Process menu, there is a preset for removing vocals which will work if the vocals are panned in the very middle. Thanks. cong peng wrote: >>I have found a beat that I like from a song and I was >>wondering if Soundforge has the capabilities to fade out all >>the other musical parts of that song except for the beat.?? >>The reason is because I want to use this beat in one of my >>own custom loop I am creating with Acid Pro?? >>Currently, the closest I can come to isolating this beat is >>using the built in Equalizer, but the equalizer doesn't >>totally mute the other music and wont let me isolate the >>beat fine enough... >> >>Also Is there a way to mute the voices from a Song (I only >>want instrumental) if you are playing the song with >>Soundforge??? >> >>If anyone knows how to do this or if SoundForge doesn't have >>the capabilities and anyone knows another software that >>does, please let me know. >>Thanks in advance. |
