Can somebody help me on this?
I have SoundForge 4.5 with Batch Editor, but I can't fnd a
simple CUT function in it.
What I need is simply to cut the 1st 510 ms (half a
sec.plus safety gap)in thousands of files.

Any idea?!

Thankyou in advance

Hello.

Sadly, there's no way to do that in the Batch Editor.

Thanks.

There is a way:
Use the Auto-Trim Crop Process, with the function set to:"Remove data
from start and limit file length". Set the "Auto-delete from start"
parameter to 0.5 seconds (and maybe a 10 ms fade in). Also, set the
thresholds to -Inf. You'll want to set the maximum output size to a
very large number to avoid getting your files clipped at the end also.
