Hello, I am trying to open up an mp3 file in soundforge and it says the file format is not supported. Is there a plugin or something I need to get mp3's to work? |

There is a plug-in that you need in order to save files as .MP3s, however you should be able to open and play .MP3s in SF4.5. I don't think 4.0 supports .MP3s. If you are opening simply to listen, I suggest that you get the free download of Siren XPress (if you haven't done so already). You can open and play an .MP3 file instantaneously in Siren whereas it takes quite some time to open them in SF. If you need to edit, then you will just have to wait.
