I record these scripts used for placing people into a relaxed state of mind and I need a way to change a man's voice to that of an 8 yr old girl. A childs voice is much more soothing. I have recorded scripts with young children, but I get to many pauses, giggles, easily distracted. I thought of hiring a child actor to read the script, but to expensive for the scale I'm doing. If I could change my voice to sound like a little 8 yr old girl I would have it. I can read without pauses and can control the consistency of my voice. I check out the hardware versions voice changers from phones to hand held devices. These really lack the flexability and realism I need. Is there a module or plug-in that can accomplish this in Sound Forge or Cool Edit Pro? Thank you all for any help you can give me. |

Jack... Pitch Shift would be the only thing I can think of at this time, but you'd sound more like some guy who is pitch shifted up as opposed to an actual 8 year old. I can't think of any DirectX plugins... or programs, at this time, which could help you out with this. Jack P.
