howdy there all,

i can't believe that i've had sooo much trouble finding an
rm [real] to WAV converter out there.

is there a legal reason for this? ...and therefore should i
just stop looking? [SF4.5 can sav 'em but apparently can't
open 'em. even the one's it itself encodes...uhmmm]

...or (!) am i just not finding a converter?? ---please
advise.

the folks at FMJ software --makers of AWAVE say that RealNetworks
legally forbids the convertion of real formats. what a trip.

Real does not provide a means to decode an encoded file for editing.
