Anybody here know this person? -ACID Product Family

Person's name is pongo with a Yahoo email address.. Wanted me to convert an old Acid 4 file to mp3 or wav. Told him I wouldn't do it, as who knows what else might be riding on the file. Says he tried to post here and didn't have a serial number. Told him he didn't need a serial number or even had to own a Sony product to post here. Did a search by member name and found nothing. Anybody here know this person? Also, did anyone get an email from him asking to convert his file? This is weird. Jack

I said it depends. a) need the audio files b) any VST instruments could/would be a problem. c) the "forum would not let him post" was wrong, and asked which trial did he download. So it seems a few of us have been contacted. FWIW - I do get quite a few emails from users asking 'how to do this or that' - but this one was a little different as it was asking for a service. He is correct though; you cannot register for a forum username without a serial number now. 'Course, if he's using ACID 4 he ought to have a serial number.

As to needing a s/n to join the forum, that must be relatively new; I've been here for so long that when I joined, IIRC, I didn't need one to join up. This is the only forum I manufacturer's forum I belong to that does that. Oh well, off to make music. edit: I should have realized he's probably a warez dood. further edit: anybody notice the forum time is an hour off?
