I've asked this a couple times without response, but I'll be damned if I stop trying: I've got SoundForge XP 4.0, and the only thing I'm using it for is to resample files from 48 kHz to 44.1 kHz. I want to know two things: 1. Has version 4.5 improved upon this feature at all? 2. Does the full version of SoundForge offer anything over the XP version when it comes to downsampling like this? I must know, and soon... I can't find this information on sonicfoundry.com - HELP ME! ANYBODY! |

Hi Scott I don't Know what SFXP has,I'm using SF 4.5g and I do a lot of resampling from 48 to 44.1 and it does it very well.We do this because people bring us DATs that they want mastered so we have to resample it to 44.1khz. You can also do this in the batchconverter that comes in SF 4.5,So you don't have to wait around. Hope this helps George Ware Scott Weber wrote: >>I've asked this a couple times without response, but I'll >>be damned if I stop trying: >> >>I've got SoundForge XP 4.0, and the only thing I'm using it >>for is to resample files from 48 kHz to 44.1 kHz.
