Hi, how do u zip mp3 files the proper way. I tried using winzip but didn't get the compression down to where I wanted it to. For example, If I wanted to zip and mp3 say 3.9MB big, winzip will compress this to 3.7MB. Is there another program that compresses' properly? |

Hi! This has nothing to do with Winzip or any other compression utility. An MP3 file is already heavily compressed by itself (you're compressing a very large wave file to a much smaller MP3). Basically the MP3 file is already a 'zipped' version of your song. Therefore, zipping an MP3 file is quite useless. It'd be trying to zip a zip file, so to speak. ;-) ATP skeezwiz wrote: >>Hi, how do u zip mp3 files the proper way.
