Subject:Multitrack Recording Issue

Hi,

I'm using ACID Music Studio 6 on a nice new well-loaded HP laptop.

I record a short piece.

Then I record a second track, monitoring the first one in head phones. All seems well.

But when done, the second track displays *shorter* than the first (even though i recorded for the full duration of the first track) and the play back is all mis-matched.

This is not multi-tracking the way I'm used to it!

What's going on?!
