In particular, the sound that really doesn't convert well at all is a piano patch from a Roland JV1000. What about that PCM could make it convert so poorly? I record it through a ProMix01 at 48k into my audio recorder. Sounds great. When I try to convert to 44.1 using SF 4.5XP it is ringy and jingly and tinny. What can I do? I really don't want to record all my tracks again! Thanks in advance to any one who can help. John
