Although there is no indication of this, it seems that the normalize function in xp is an rms normalize only. True? It might make it quicker to learn if that information were there. Currently I get hard clipping if I normalize above about 4.5db. No choice of rms/peak is available. And is there a help file that is specific to xp? Mine has all sorts of info about functions that aren't in the software. rob mack |

Rob, We did some quick checking and could not reproduce your problem. You could call Tech support for more help on this. Side note: the only type of normalization in XP is peak. There may be a discrepancy in the documentation, and we've forwarded it to the right people. Matt Miller Sonic Foundry, Inc.
