Subject:scratching sounds on play

From 2 or 3 days i hear a scracthing sound when i play the
wav files that i record!!!
The strange thing is that in other programs the wav play
fine!
Help me i`ve got a sb64pci a pentiumII 350 video card
s3virge and 64M of Ram.
What is Happen????
