"Spacebar" crashing Sound Forge 4.5 during recording?? -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:"Spacebar" crashing Sound Forge 4.5 during recording?? Posted by: Dalkeyman Date:5/12/2000 5:35:00 AM Hi, I'm running Sound Forge 4.5e and I'm experiencing system crashes when using the keyboard "spacebar" to trigger and halt recording while in Record Mode. I use the "Multiple takes creating Regions mode" and trigger and pause recording via the "spacebar" often in quick succession i.e. within a few seconds of each other. If done quickly enough it causes the system to hang, although the system has enough processor power and RAM. Any ideas what's casing this? Is there a solution to this problem that anyone can suggest? My equipment list is as follows: - Compaq Proliant 1600r PC. - Pentium PIII 500 Mhz/128MB/56gig HD. - Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 4.5e (build 329) - MOTU 2408 hard disk recording system Thanks in advance, MR.
