Subject:Anybody . . . . . ???

I'm wondering if anybody else has or has had this problem
with the smooth scrolling feature in SF4.5.
I have a new computer (600MHz PIII, 128M RAM, 7200 Ultra
ATA Hard drive and a Diamond Viper 32M AGP graphics card).
I recently upgraded from SF4.0e to SF4.5. I have whatever
the latest version of 4.5 is out there. I also have the
latest version of the drivers for my sound card (Zefiro
Acoustics ZA2) and my graphics card. However, I cannot get
my waveform to scroll as smoothly in 4.5 as it did in 4.0.
I have tried numerous combinations of graphics acceleration
settings, compatible scroll mode, compatible draw mode,
etc. and nothing seems to be a fix. My audio is fine (no
warbling or glitching) but the waveform practically skips
across the screen in about 1/4" increments. I like the
added features of 4.5 and would love to continue using
them, but my eyes can't take it. Therefore, I have
uninstalled 4.5 and reverted back to the tried and true
4.0e.
If anyone has any fixes or suggestions, I would really like
to hear from you. I am not a true computer guru so your
answers will have to be in plain English. By the way, I am
using Win98.
