I've never used sound before, and after playing around with Flash, I've decided that it is time for me to jump in and learn how to work with sound. What I want is an application that will let me create my own sounds, use sample sounds and modify them, sample from CDs, distor, etc.. and then turn this information into a files I can use in Flash. So... my question is, which product would be the best for these purposes (on a tight budget). After looking over this site, many of the products seem the same to me (i'm new to sound-based application) and I'm not really sure what I should be looking for. How important is the MP3 file format for use in Flash websites? Is is significantly better than a WAV file? Michael
