Subject:tempo change?

how can I change the tempo on a .wav in soundforge? I tried
going under special/edit tempo/, but I'm lost after that.
I'm using SF4.0 btw. -thanx

If you don't need to drastically change the tempo, you can try the
time compression/expansion processor. I think its in the processor
menu. Also, you could download Acid Xpress from SF's website (free).
It has some tempo changing capability. Only drawback is you can't
save your new file as a .wav file in Xpress. You will have to buy one
of the full versions or, if you have a DAT machine, you could record
the adjusted material onto DAT and load it back into SF. Pretty time
consuming, though.
