Hi I seem to have run into a problem involving SF 4.5 and Windows 2000 which I am at a loss to solve, involving transfer to and from a sampler using SCSI. The system in question used to run Windows 98, and in this environment (along with the help of some older drivers for the Adaptec 7880), the SCSI transfer was completely functional. Now the system is running Win2000, and in the Sampler Configuration, when I come to select the host, the one choice I have is... (None). I cannot get SF to see the SCSI adapter under w2k, and no amount of configuring /swearing at / shouting at windows seems to make the slightest difference. Any ideas or fixes? Also, anything on the cards for a Sound Forge for BeOS? Love to see that running alongside Logic for BeOS when it's released, and Windows has frankly lost any appeal it ever had... thanx |
