I'm trying to record some things in stereo. I've got the sound source plugged into the aux in on my sound card (Sound Blaster PCI 128). When I play the audio source, and listen to it in my headphones, it's in stereo. I open a new stereo sound file in SF (it shows both channels), record the audio, and then when I play back the recording, it's in mono, even though it's showing a left and right channel. Any ideas? |

Make sure that when you reach the record dialog box, the new window settings are set for stereo. Also, make sure that the stereo/mono window at the bottom of your SF screen is set to stereo (right click on the window and then select). If that doesn't work, your problem probably lies in your output signal path. Jeff Lowes On-Track Recording Chris Branscome wrote: >>I'm trying to record some things in stereo.
