I am new to Sound Forge. Can you import a CDA file into
SF4.5 or is there a converter in SF that will convert CDA
files from CDs to wav?

Thanks!

Hi Sandie!
You should try Sonic Foundry CD Architect. It's a plugin for Sound
Forge that will not only allow you to extract audio from your cd, but
burn audio to a cd as well.

Of course, if your cd or cd-r drive is not supported by CD Architect,
this won't help you. In that case I think there is no other option
but to manually sample the audio track by track.

You can find a list of supported drives like this:

1 Go to SF main site.
2 Click Products.
3 In "Deliver", click CD Architect.
4 Then click on the first link in the main text: 'CD-burning Drive'.

Good luck!
