Subject:AM3/Sound Forge stuttering

When I've just fall in love with my AM3/Sound Forge I found
I've been betrayed.

Recording 16 bits 44.100 Stereo, sometime (4 or 5 times in
an Hour), a "stuttering" is recorded (something like: be
sure it's truth-it's truth when I say...),
and the part recorded twice is about 100 to 1000
milliseconds long.

I have 2 HDD (IDE 6Gb and SCASI 4Gb)and the problem is
the same, no matter which HDD is used.

Since I don't know who is the guilty, I am posting both
Sonicfoundry Forum and
Digidesign User conference, to get any help (PLEASE).

Thanks, Arrigo.

Hello.

I beleive on the digidesign webpage (http://www.digidesign.com) they
have a "FAQ" section for the Audiomedia 3 card which explains how to
resolve this issue.

If I recall correctly, it involves going into your BIOS and adjusting
your PCI settings...

Thanks.
